Any quality shop will not only require that you have your birth certificate, a photo id, and your parent with photo id present, but they'll deny you a tattoo altogether. No good artist would tattoo a minor regardless of the law in their state. Any that would is just interested in money and has questionable morals.

A large tattoo at 14 is a really, really stupid idea and your mom's parenting is definitely lacking if she's going to allow it.

find a bootleg atist that you KNOW is clean and preferably know alltogether. youd get a wayyyyy low price too! all un-professional artist dont take birth certificat, all they need is parent consent and maybe like a school iD

Even with parental consent you have to have a valid state issued ID or a valid passport. Shops ask for ID for many reasons, one being the law. Sorry, you can't get your tattoo without a valid form of ID. By the way, you're way too young for a tattoo.

Are you likely to get fired because of something you do to your body after the fact, no. They may ask you to cover it up. It all depends on the type of career that you want. Most jobs have a standard uniform and grooming policy. As a salesman, I am expected to keep myself well groomed. If my arms were tatted, I would be expected to keep them covered as it is a representation of the company. If you do your research before you go in for an interview, you will know what they expect and how you are to appear. Everything depends on the job, but as I have seen in most jobs, those with tattoos where you want them are less considered in the long run. (and yes I think that's stupid too.)

if you decide to get this tattoo you have to face the reality that not just jobs but a lot of the older generation will view you differently esp japanese people they see it as the yakuza (japanese mob) even if the tattoo has nothing to do with them also employers cannot legally NOT hire you because you have tattoos but they do discriminate regardless but it also depends on the type of work environment you want to be in (if your an auto mechanic they wont mind) if i were you i would wear long sleeves at interviews and if you get the job wear them for awhile and ask your employer if it would be appropriate to let them be seen

you can get a great, professional job with full sleeves. you just have to be prepared to wear long sleeves all day, all year long.
As a general rule, yes it is stupid to discriminate against people with visible tattoos, but that is just how things are. having visible tattoos does make it harder to find a job. Bosses do not think they are professional, and neither does the general public.
technically they arent discriminating though because you chose to put them on your body.
